“Gets 4 stars for the burger! Very good, thick juicy, seasoned well and served with several ice cold beers. Loses a star because it took 45 minutes to get the food out. In all fairness they told us ahead of time it was going to take that long, guess they were short on cooks or something today. Staff was very friendly though, and running around trying to make sure everyone was taken care of. It is a dive bar, but has a nice view off the back deck. Smoking is allowed inside and out, and lots of the regulars and "bikers" do smoke. I say "bikers" because it's not like the place is full of 1% Bandidos. These are your folks who like to put on their Harley gear on the weekends and go for a ride, so don't sweat the "Biker bar" appearance. I'll go again when in the area.”

“Alfredo’s Mexican Restaurant #2 our experience was very inviting, from the landscaping outside to the quick service. The staff was very courteous & met our every need. The food was served hot and the presentation pleasing. The sodas were great with light ice that did not water down the drink. The chips could have been a bit fresher. But were real corn chips and I don’t believe they were the cheep 1/2 flower1/2 corn mixed chip. Which some people who are gluten intolerant get tricked into thinking are all corn chips. Cash only but there is an ATM. Enjoy.”

“Great dog friendly outside area to sit and look over the river. The service was great as well the new manager even came out and welcomed my boyfriend and I personally since it was out first visit there. I had the Bistro Burger and it was excellent! Although the "spicy" pickle fries were not at all spicy they were still very good. They even brought out an extra burger patty for my pup! All in all great experience.”

“This place is okay for a small town. Be warned the chips and corn tortillas taste like they have flour added. So if you are gluten-free beware as I don't feel their corn products are safe for you. I wanted to give my wife a perfect birthday, and I was running behind schedule and got to Grand Central 15 minutes from closing after driving 300 miles from Dallas, and without hesitation they welcomed us in. Not only with a smile, best steak ever!! The food was amazing! Not only that, the service was even BETTER! After a short conversation with Stephanie (best waitress ever!) “Wow! The service was top class here at the bar. We went after an open bar event, tired of the selection. Lantana had some amazing bourbon and a few Macallan's to chose from. That satisfied me and my business partner. Our glass never went close to empty before a second was waiting. Always neat. Dominic was our man behind the bar along with the female manager of whom I cannot remember the name of. Both were exceptional at making sure our whole group was well taken care of. We filled the entire bar and truly didn't want to leave. Wish we skipped the open bar earlier so we could have spent more time bar side. My only comment for improvement would be to have some small bar snacks there. Thank you so much Dominic and your co-worker! We will be back for sure, the next time won't be for business but just to enjoy.”
