Back 40 Grill Lubbock

My chicken fried steak was good and the sides but the loaded potato skins had burnt bacon and the toast was a little burnt. The service was good. I'd give it another try hopefully it will be just a little better. Looks like a cool place to get a drink.

New owner has really turned this place around. Great food, great service and great drink prices. Don't miss out on those chicken fried steak sliders!! Best I've ever had!

I had lunch there with a few people. I know they had been there about 30 minutes before I arrived. And probably took the waiter another 30 minutes or more before he even came to see if we were ready to order. Yes I know there was only 1 person waiting tables but to be honest I had to call him over just to take our order, then to have him tell us that he was helping someone else😑. This is absolutely NOT a bad review. The food was good. I'll go back because I just bet it was just one of them crazy days😉 I'll make sure they don't know who I am just to see how my second time around goes 🤭🙃

We had a great meal here! I didn’t like the weird jalapeño gravy but everything else was great and the fries were AMAZING. My first time going here I was disappointed but I’m glad I gave it a second chance.
