Church's Texas Chicken

Each month I come here around my father Birthday. He passed away the last day of Sept 2022. He was big on feeding others so I always pay for the vehicle behind me in his honor. One time as I was checking my order they had added extra items I didn't order. When I let them know they said "baby, you deserve to be blessed too! That is very kind of you to pay for another person's meal."

Service was alright, not very friendly. Food was good but they shorted me on potatoes. Not worth what I paid for it.

Staff was very kind and service was quick. However, the food was awful. I ordered a meal and every single thing from the drink to the condiment sauces was gross. The tea had a powdery texture and weird after taste. The fried chicken tasted as if the oil hadn’t been changed since they opened the location. The mashed potatoes made me gag and the condiments were most likely expired. I was super hungry at the time and not even that deterred me from throwing my meal straight in the bin. I am not exaggerating when I say the food made me lose my appetite for the rest of the day.

I had a coupon and ordered takeway. 5 mixed pcs with 2 sides and 2 honey biscuits. The price was $6.49. Although the amount of food was great, the taste was not that good. The chicken did not taste good and coleslaw was too sweet.
