Cotton Patch Cafe

We went to the Cotton Patch at 4:45 on March 14,2023. The décor was really nice. We didn't see any employees, and it took a while for them to seat us. Once they had seated us, they did take our order quickly. They had advertised a chicken fried brisket, but when we ordered it, they said that they were out. They should have taken the sign down if they didn't have it. Then when they brought our order, the server noticed that they brought a chicken fried chicken instead of the chicken fried steak that we ordered. She offered to exchange it but we told her that we were fine with what she brought. However, our salad was missing the avocado and we had to flag her down to bring it, which she did quickly. Finally, when we wanted to pay, once again we could not find any employees.

Overall, the restaurant was nice and the food was tasty. The prices are about what you would expect. The server was pleasant when we saw her, but she would disappear and there was nobody left in the front of the restaurant. They also shouldn't advertise food that they don't have.

We were disappointed with our trip, but I realize that everybody has a bad day. The food was worth giving them another try. We will definitely go back, but we're not in any hurry.

We went on a Thursday it was not too busy. Like the weekends. We ordered fried pickles that were delicious. I then had the chicken and dumplings sooo good. My sister had chicken tenders she really liked. The waitress was the best. Overall great experience. Thank you.

I really love the fried tomatoes with ranch! My mom, and I get these every time we come. Yesterday I tried the Grilled Chicken sandwich with Avocado, and it was really good! It was huge lol! I would recommend this place. Last time it seemed they were short of help, but that's with a lot of places. This time we got seated quickly, and everything was great.

Waitress was amazing on service questions and recommended the appetizer and it was a hit deep fried bacon was amazing...Our food was hot and very delicious

Food was hot & delicious. Service was way better than on previous visits! (Thanks Andy!) There was only a 30min wait for it being a Sunday which was great! Sadly, they were out of my fav (baked potatoes) but substituted loaded mashed potatoes 😊 we are frequent visitors and will definitely be back!
