Ohana Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

AMAZING food!! They serve you a BIG amount of food. All staff is very friendly and very attentive!!! Our food came out hot, fresh and very delicious!!! 10/10 would recommend and definitely will be returning!!!

I lived in Lubbock for 18 months and this was our family’s go to spot! Amazing sushi! Amazing hibachi entrees! It really is a great family dinner or date night outing. I’m very sad to be leaving Lubbock and this restaurant is definitely one of the reasons. Thank you to all the staff for being so kind and helpful. Definitely setting a high standard for their competitors.

Updated review: 10/2/21 - We went for lunch and had great service!! Food was good, except steak was a a little tough. Had a great chef, entertaining!!

Great as always!! This particular chef wasnt quite as entertaining as some of the others, but we were a quiet group and no kids. I love the ginger dressing and the soup isnt too salty like I have had at other restaurants. Food was cooked properly to order. I like the chefs repeat the order before they start to ensure everything is correct...esp my order of double rice and no vegetables 😊 Definately a repeatable!!!

Food is always good but very inconsistent ofc bc of the style of cooking (i.e. sometimes a little heavy handed with salt or sauces...other times it's perfect.) They don't accept reservations which is a bummer (and growing trend at most restaurants I might add 🤔). You don't get to really pick your seats. On more than one occasion we were asked to move bc we were a "party of 2", but when we had 4 were seated on the side?? So that was strange. The atmosphere is nice. I would recommend it for family outings so you know who you sit next to bc then otherwise it's the pick of the litter! 😅 we didn't have a very lively bunch this time. We will definitely be back especially since they closed the 4th & west loop location.
