Rangel's Mexican Food

This is the best place for Mexican food I have found so far in Lubbock. I had the breakfast tacos, and to my surprise, they were made correctly with crispy bacon! Finally! The sausage and potatoes were really good as well.

The little woman behind the counter was very sweet and took care of us very well. The restaurant was clean with clean tables. Everything seems to be well attended, too.

Never been here and we decided to try it out, the beef enchiladas we're really good, really good rice and refried beans, and especially the chips and salsa. My wife and son really liked they're barbacoa and carne guisada burritos. Really goods prices for the portions. We'll definitely be back.

We may be late to the party, but just discovered this little gem on Saturday by accident. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food was great!! There is seating in the front as well as in back by the self serve soda fountains. Beware, they are only open for breakfast and lunch and close at 2 pm. We will definately be back!!

I have visited Rangels 3 times in the last month and a half. First time ate inside on a Friday and ordered menudo. On this occasion the menudo was Great 👍. I would highly recommend this on days they serve it. 9 out of 10. Last 2 other occasions was on a Wednesday and ordered the enchilada special with chicken and red sauce. Again it was a great choice! 9 out of 10. Customer service was well, its more like a self serve when it comes to refills, but they still check on you. Lady's and owner are very nice. You most definitely will feel welcomed at this great to eat spot! Restaurant closes at 2pm.
