Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

We ate lunch 🥪 there , here at Rudy’s today., It was very nice atmosphere inside, The employees were polite and friendly they were even going around asking everyone if they needed anything else and and how was everything that’s great I loved I appreciate it !!! They also have pit smoked meat 🥩 which is awesome the pits are inside you can see them when ordering it’s got to be good tasting and mouth 👄 watering and it was when I bit into my sandwich 🥪 delicious 😋 I’ll definitely go there again I’m from Odessa Texas driving to Lubbock Texas which is like Two hours away… next time I’ll take awhole lot more pictures., The brisket is delicious 😋 !!!

First time here. The baby back ribs were wonderful. I think I will try the moist brisket next time. The leaner was a little more dry than I'm used too!

Customer service was amazing! Gentleman that took our order on Dec 19, 2021..around noon was friendly. He was very helpful and patient. It was my first time there and I'm a bit picky about BBQ. The brisket was perfect! Meat was juicy and tender. Not chewy and dry. Good variety of sizes to choose from. I enjoyed the picnic setting set up. They have plenty of condiments. Place is spacious. Good crowd with easy flow.

I like how you can get really any amount of the BBQ that you want, even though the board has the meats in 1/2 lb costs. The turkey was really good, but the brisket was mediocre - kind of dry. I liked the Rudy's beans. Cole slaw was, eh...
Drive through was crazy busy, but the indoor seating wasn't too bad on a Wednesday night even with the Texas Tech football coach's show being broadcast.
We had a 4 person group and getting the order together at the counter took a bit longer than I would have expected. The team seemed a little disorganized.
Still overall pretty good and reasonably priced.
