Taquería Autlán

So amazing. Probably the best mex in Lubbock. Just don’t tell anybody about it so it can be just us but also tell everyone so everyone can know this awesome place! The tacos are amazing. The tres amigos are great. The enchiladas are wonderful. The Margs are 10/10. 5 awesome beers on draft. Will be back asap.

Everything we had here was delicious. I love cilantro and that flavor really popped in the salsa they bring out with the chips, and they also have delicious salsas and limes at their salsa bar. They didn't bring a drink menu but there is a full bar. Service was good, and parking was easy. The menu has tons of options. I just wish I would've saved room for Tres Leches.

Everyone in our party of four enjoyed their food. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The service was excellent. This will be our go-to restaurant for Mexican food when we come back to Lubbock to visit family members.

First time coming to the restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and attentive, especially our waitress she always made sure we had full drinks and our food was good. The restaurant was very clean and the tables were not that close to each other. They do have an open salsa which you can also take some with your leftovers. We order cocktail shrimp, tacos de Asada, and birria tacos. Food was delicious well seasoned and cooked. Highly recommended!!!
Truly a Mexican restaurant and not a Tex Mex.

It's okay, tried the bistec tacos to chewy the birria tacos are okay but the cheese they use does not pair well. The one thing that I keep getting when I go is the Torre de mariscos (tower of seafood) that is good. Just don't go close to closing time because they will not let the Shrimp cook all the way. The first time we tried it, it was perfect really great sauce and everything it was so so good. This second time we went we did order 30min to closing time and well I know it takes a while to fully cook with the lime sauce about 25min or longer like the 1st time we went but I guess they wanted to rush us out. All in all it's good just make sure you go 1hr before they close to make the Torre de marisco right. Will go again something about that lime sauce is just so good.
