Perfect Brisket, Turkey Breast and Pork Ribs. Fried Cabbage and Mac & Cheese were good. Loaded Frito Pie was Amazing!!
Great Texas BBQ and delightful owners! We had the brisket and Turkey - both excellent. Green Chili creamed corn and the cabbage are a must. A bonus was easy parking for our travel trailer. Thanks Isaac and family for a wonderful experience and sharing your family history.

Great prices for the combo meals. They definitely give you plenty of meat. Service was great very friendly staff. Definitely a must try location..... Today they had live music.... they were great.....
Great family owned BBQ joint situated in a family owned renovated auto shop. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Featured in Texas Monthly as the Future of BBQ in this area. Had the 2 meat plate with brisket and turkey. Sides were beans and potato salad. Wife had brisket Mac and cheese for her side. Everything was excellent and I will make this a visit again on my way through. Thanks for keeping family owned restaurants alive.
Just a great little BBQ stop. Homemade tortillas are a neat little twist on traditional BBQ fare. Fried cabbage may be an homage to Slaton’s German roots? The brisket was great and even better wrapped, sauceless, in the aforementioned tortillas. Hoping to make it a regular stop when we pass through!
