The Woodbine Hotel and Restaurant

I was passing through the town and stopped here for dinner with my family. I had the ME Burger which was SO SO SO good. If you can stay the night you should because the place is gorgeous! The service was incredibly personable and hospitable. Check out (better yet, check in) the Woodbine Hotel & Restaurant and you’ll be so happy you did!

I have traveled all over the southwest and have never had such a more pleasant experience with a hotel and staff. Very clean and proper. Awesome food amazing hotel. Make the trip. Youll be glad you did.

My family and I were in the Madisonville area on our way to Dallas to visit some family and friends. We found the Woodbine and decided to make a pitstop there for the night. After meeting the apparent new owner (lovely lady!) at the desk she kindly let us know they had a prime rib special running. Boy does my wife love prime rib. We were sold. During our dinner our waitress politely explained to us the history of the place. Come to find out we were staying in our first haunted hotel! At first we were reluctant but the vibes were so pleasant that we got the courage to stay the night. The room we stayed in was very vintage and even had a whirlpool tub. The next morning was a Sunday and the brunch buffet was incredible and I favored the meatballs along with healthier options! Our expectations were exceeded.
