Boondocks Seafood

The service here was great. The food was mediocre. After the visit with the family my daughter's chicken strip salad was the best thing we ordered. The cheese burger my son ordered was good. The fried fish was lackluster and the grilled shrimp was simply not worth trying. The hush puppies were good and the tarter sauce was unique.

Very nice place to eat. The staff is very friendly. You go in and order, grab some sweet tea or soda, a good bowl of beans to eat while you wait for your food. The catfish is really good, but I love the blackened red fish on a bed of rice.

Catfish plate was great! Filets are good-sized and perfectly fried. Their blackened fish is also good. Hands down best pinto beans I have had in a long time, add the onions and jalapeños and you will be in heaven. I was also really excited that RC Cola was offered as a fountain drink. Overall great place and super friendly staff.

This place/service/ food is all amazing!! Best Boston Cream Pie in Texas! Amazing catfish and steak! The restaurant really blew our minds and taste buds. If you are coming through Brady do not forget to stop at Boondocks!
