Billy Bob's Burgers Bar & Grill

This was our first visit to Billy Bobs on Hewitt Drive. Service was slower than we’d prefer but it was a crowded Saturday night. The spicy cheese curds were a terrific choice to get things going. They were served pretty quickly. Get them! Burgers were awesome just like the Waco location. I got the Texan, a delicious, double cheese burger with bacon, mayo, and A-1 sauce. Kinda sloppy but quite a treat, if you’re into that sort of thing. Our waitress was really attentive once it slowed down. This new location is a winner, folks. It won’t disappoint!

We almost did not visit based on other reviews of the food being no better than frozen food. I'm happy to report that this is incredibly inaccurate and the food was fantastic. Everyone was super happy. We got onion rings, fried okra, cheese curds, buffalo chicken sandwich, billy Philly club, a kids burger, french fries, scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup, and funnel cake fries. Everything was so good and perfectly seasoned and flavored. Will definitely be returning.

Menu is great, server was friendly, burger was good but we waited over 45 minutes for our food once we ordered it. It came out warm, not hot, so I’m not sure why it took us so long to get it. There was also a hair fried into our onion rings. Our server was sweet but you could tell she felt awkward about it. The manager was on the floor but never stopped at our table and after seeing the reviews, this ticket time is just the norm for them. Sadly, it doesn’t matter how good the menu or food is when the kitchen time is so absurdly long. I was really hoping to love this place since it’s local and close to home but it was frustrating enough to not be worth a second chance. Honestly, it makes no sense why it took so long too.. it was a slower Sunday evening, small place without many tables, and they had an insane amount of staff in the front-of-house.. truly mind boggled..

They have really good burgers and fries Can’t complain about the wait cause it is understandable since it just opened up. we have dined in and ordered take out from them and will continue to get food from here. Highly recommend if you have patience and respect for other human beings

1st time there, burgers are great, service was good except the wait on the food. Fairly busy and had to sit at the bar. Plenty of staff, all pretty women too. Worth it overall
