Always good. I've been going there for. 29 years and not much has changed. Yes, they have had a remodel but their menu has changed a little and the beer is still cold. Excellent food. I recommend it highly. It is kid friendly. Alot of great times, great people and excellent food. I think that's all you need to know to go there.

It was so peaceful this evening. You could actually hear the country music playing in the background. I had a 12 oz. sirloin. It was the best steak I've had in awhile. The waitress was very nice as well. I'll be back.

This is a decent place to eat. The right place to get a reasonable amount of food, at a average price. I wasn't impressed with the sirloin or NY Strip my wife and I had, but the country fried steak on of my children ordered was excellent.

Having read previous reviews, I was not surprised by fake bacon bits and squeezable margarine on the table. I did however note that the owner was quick to respond to complaints with the comment that they were more than happy to help fix a thing if you found something lacking.

So I asked for real butter... the question seemed to confuse the waitress, pointing to the squeezable margarine after I pointed out it was margarine. She returned a few minutes later with small packets of... more margarine.

The atmosphere is rustic, with a lot of care put in to making it warm and friendly and a lot of Texas flair.
