Nice leisurely brunch on Mother’s Day. Food reminds me of New Orleans with Sunday mimosas. Chicken salad croissant, stuffed French toast & nuetalla pancakes at our table and all were great.
Service was good. Avocado on toast was fine. Good sized portion. I ordered a side of bacon and chocolate croissant for my 11year old. Half of a piece of bacon was burnt to a crisp and the chocolate in the croissant was hard as a rock. Pastry surrounding it was dry. I’d come back but most likely I’d stick with the egg dish or pancakes.
We started our girls weekend getaway with brunch at the Olive Branch, it’s very open, high roof which makes it difficult to keep warm or cold as needed (nothing wrong with that, just dress light/bring the right coat) We had a chicken cob salad, avocado toast with fruit, pancakes, self served coffee, attentive and educated server. It’s very different from most restaurants, unique and you definitely pay for the atmosphere $$$ out of $$$$ for brunch. Not a place I would go on my own but a fun place to show off to someone who’s never been. Plus after your meal, you don’t have to go back outside to start shopping, go through the doors next to the counters and that will lead you to Spice Village and bar.
First time there, wait staff very friendly & helpful. Coffee is great. Menu had just been changed, so the menu & prices I read online were different. The biscuits & gravy are excellent, it's just a bit pricier than we "retired" folks thought. I will go back!
