A favorite place for delicious burgers. Arrived at five, it wasn't busy. I'll return friends next time. This place has a great feel to it. Similar to a place in Denver I loved.

A Waco institution. Freshly cooked burgers. Awesome tots and onion rings. Went to Baylor and loved coming here. Introduced this place to my wife and she’s hooked. She loves the banana shake

Stopped at Health Camp on the Circle in Waco last week coming back to Dallas from Austin. I've been making this stop since my sister went to UT in 1960! The Health Camp was the place for lunch on the way down to Austin and on the way home. Double meat cheese burger and chocolate shake, EVERY TIME! Good news!! It was every bit as good this time as it was the first, and every time in between! And there have been many! Interesting twist now! If you sit outside, you can watch the poor rejects (No Reservations!) from Magnolia Table come walking across the parking lot to get a Health Camp burger! Chip and Joe are keeping Health Camp full at at all times!

I got the Super Burger Combo #1 with fries and a medium caramel shake.

    - Very mediocre burger. Sparse toppings, thin, tough patties. Sauce and cheese were good. This is the reason they get only 3 stars. It is a burger joint and they do not have great burgers. If there had been more than a few leaves of lettuce and one tomato slice on my burger it would have been great.

    - The fries were pretty good, perfectly walked the thin line between crisp and soft, salted just right, with a hint of a taste of beef fat.

    - The shake was nothing special. Like something you could make in your kitchen with milk and ice cream and a regular blender. The flavor was artificial and maybe too sweet.

The service was really good. They were jam packed and so it took a while to get my food, but their little team works well.
