Griff's Restaurant

Great little find near SW Waco off China Springs Rd. My family and I decided to go camping at Lake Waco and wanted to grab a bite to eat. The food was delicious. We got a couple of Western Omelets, one with sour dough toast and hashbrowns, and the other with grits and a pancake. We also got steak and eggs with a pancake and an extra side of sour dough toast. The food was really good. Definitely need to stop in for some some good home cooking at Griff's if you are in the area.

We ran out of eggs last night, and I needed eggs to make at home. The other stores around were closed this early. They are not a grocery store, but they will sell you eggs out of their kitchen. Very convenient when you are in a pinch! Very helpful staff.

If you're hungry and wanna get some good grub in China Spring then this the joint you need to hit. But I strongly advise to anyone that comes in with some BS to just leave that attitude at the door cause the employees will check you if you come at them with attitude. Overall great quality food, atmosphere, and employees. They work hard for you to have a great experience. 5 star rating in my book.

Quaint, family oriented store and restaurant. Service is always great and the food is just like mama makes. If you want country cookin' and have a stomach for two, this is right up your alley. I grew up in China Spring, every time I come home I make sure to make a special stop here. Their fried pickles and breakfast burritos will make you a regular for sure!

My husband and I went for breakfast this morning but have gone for dinner before. They have great food with even greater prices. I had pancakes ham and eggs and after my first bite I told my husband that they were the best pancakes I had ever had❤ I got a full big slice of ham that was very good too. After ordering it only took about 2-5 min to get my food and they are always super nice. If they are busy be prepared to wait 10-15 for your food. This place beats any brand name/chain restaurant every time!
