Honky Tonk Kid BBQ

Amazing BBQ! Davey set us up with a to go package to bring back to Hill Country so I could surprise the boys with some amazing BBQ! Did not disappoint! The brisket, ribs and burnt ends were a hit!!! If you find yourself in Waco this is a must place to eat!!

Hands down, five stars, every time. The classic Texas BBQ is amazing, -moist brisket, not too fatty, beautiful sausages, fabulous ribs! But the specials are also fantastic- cool global fusion dishes that pay homage to culinary traditions from all over the world. Also cotija mac n' cheese, also amazing nachos, also homemade pickles, also, also, also. Just go try it, it's AWESOME!

HTK is my absolute favorite spot for BBQ in Waco. The food is outstanding. His weekly features are always delicious as are all of the staples. The smoked Turkey is like nothing I've ever had and the brisket is as good as any you'll ever find. The side items are also excellent. The mac and cheese rivals what you would order in many fine dining restaurants. Do yourself a favor and don't pass this place by!

Our food tasted good, especially the tacos. However within 5 minutes of being in the restaurant heard the chef use the “f” word. Then as we ate he proceeded to speak badly about customers! Even if your BBQ was the best on the plant, we Will not be back.
