Applebee's Grill + Bar

I think Waco's Applebee's has finally gotten thier act together. Between the broken AC in summer and an out of commission heater in winter, and terrible service (when the servers weren't quitting left and right) they managed to keep the doors open. I'm glad they did. We gave it another try and had a great time. The place was alive with people having a good time, the service was great (had different waiters and waitresses checking on us) and the food was hot and tasty. The manager walked around greeting the patrons with a smile. It was a finely tuned machine that produced a pleasant evening.

Great food, service could definitely be better... unoccupied tables were still dirty after we left and not much Interaction from Server which is a shame. Reasonable pricing, left 20 percent tip regardless of service.

service was kinda slow and timid. Atmosphere was low key and quiet for a Friday night 730pm. Order to eat time was good. I had the Bourbon chicken and shrimp. Plate, came hot & sizzling, but the food was dry. Wife had Brisket tacos and and said they were good. Otherwise it was maybe ok, Front of house needs a spark of friendliness and energy..

Came here Friday night and loved it. Our server Mary was sweet, friendly, and nice. Food was decent and I absolutely love their kids menu because it has more options available for kids to choose from. The place is in need of remodeling, sticky tables, and visibly dirty carpet. Easy access from the road, plenty of parking space and they have happy hour. Great customer service.
