Twisted Root Burger Co. Waco

Good burger and fries. Great bar service. You can sit at bar and order food vs. wait in line. Great ambiance. Will be back when I'm in Waco.

This place is exactly what it claims to be. I do not think it's the greatest but it has good hamburgers and really good shakes. The place in Waco has some amazing service. The employees are fun and the manager is attentive and they deserve the 5 stars. If you want to over indulge on good food and have a pleasant restaurant experience believe the hype this is the place to go.

Pickle lovers will love the pickle bar. Had a burger and cheese and it was quite good. My sister had the turkey burger and it was quite good too. I was a little underwhelmed with the fries. Everyone was ordering shakes - next time we will order those too because they looked great. The line moves quick. We enjoyed the large screen TVs. We will be back.

Went here for lunch with some colleagues. It was not crowded and we were able to order and get our food quickly. I ordered the Spicy Goat burger. It was fantastic, delicious goat cheese with a nice spicy chipotle sauce. My colleague and I both wanted to try the fries and chips, so we ordered one of each and split. Be sure to order a side of the peppercorn ranch for dipping. This made both the fries and chips extra good. The atmosphere is unique, almost weird with the giant projected "screens" on the walls. But it was a relaxed lunch crowd. Will definitely be a stopping place when we're driving through Waco in the future.

This establishment was formerly a live theater hall. Lots of open space with huge screen TVs showing contemporary music videos and sports. Burgers are to die for, IMHO. Wonderful choice of burgers! Best tasting meats! (ground beef, bacon, etc.). Great choice of beers, sodas. Desserts and custard shakes are 'delish'! Fun for singles, couples, families! Their burgers are cooked "medium-well", but I order "medium" for the best flavor. I normally prefer hamburger meat well cooked at other establishments, but these folks at Twisted Root sure seem to use very fresh ground beef, again IMHO.
