Food was superb as well as the service. We celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary with dinner there today, choosing the Ravioli and her the Lasagna. For dessert we each, in memory and honor of our wedding 18 years ago, had a slice of Italian Creme Cake and it was as delicious as it was 18 years ago! We highly recommend Luigis Italian Restaurant for a good old fashioned Italian Meal with a hint of being in Old Italy!!

I really enjoyed the outdoor eating area and the historic building. I was happy with my meal I just hope they work on quality. Hopefully as business picks up it affords them to focus on it more. I really enjoyed the pasta and the ladies were great with customer service. My calamari seemed a little cold, I wouldn't mind waiting longer for something that was fried when ordered. If the review seems ambiguous I just want this place to succeed so much and worry if there isn't passion in the kitchen. I recommend going here if it's a nice day to eat outside, definitely one of the top choices to dine in Castroville.

Absolutely the best hand-made Italian food. My husband and I have not received a less than perfect meal since our first meal. We highly recommend Luigi's!

This place is everything we have been looking for since moving to San Antonio! I haven't had pizza this good since Italy. The sauces on the dishes my wife and I ordered were incredible, both cream-based. The homey feel of the ambience was the most welcoming we've experienced in San Antonio which is saying a lot! The service was personal and top-notch, Patti was our server. The fact we can bring our own wine completes the 5-star experience!! If you have not tried this place do yourself the favor
