Billy Bob's Hamburgers

Hometown goodness. Burers are amazing. Sweet potato fries were perfect. Almost went back for a 2nd order but was too full... Definitely worth the trip off the interstate.

Service has been hit or miss, but I keep trying because some of the food is really amazing. Honestly, their fish / shrimp / hush puppies etc are better than Long John Silver, and their chicken is good too. The burgers are alright, basically home-made tasting. Kind of backwards for a burger place. Sometimes its fast, but when its slow it is slow and mistakes have been made on even simple orders. One time they forgot the meat for a regular old burger! Another time I was the only person in the drive-thru window and after 20 minutes still hadn't paid and didn't even get my drink. Whenever Jessica is working there, things seem to go smoothly. Every other time it seems to be a roll of the dice. Its pretty bad when I can only recognize one employee I associate with excellent service every time. Its only been open a year or so though so maybe in time they will find better pacing.

Huge burger!... and that was the special! Tasted great and was inexpensive! It came with fries and a drink too! Great service and a clean restaurant! I will eat the again!

We first tried Billy Bob's in Hondo and fell in love. These burgers are as good as they get! Always friendly service at this location. Picnic style tables make for a kid friendly atmosphere. It's made to order so there is a bit of a wait but it's worth it. Just a great burger for a great value!
