Armadillo Grill

We had a party of 12 because we are traveling to see my nephew graduate from boot camp at Fort Sill. When we arrive the waitress that took care of us was rude. She seemed bothered by our large party. She took our drink orders with a bad attitude and when she came back with the drinks she was handing them to the people at the end of the table instead of handing them to the person it belonged to. Then she took our food order and never came back to our table. Another waitress showed up letting us know our food would be out soon. She was polite and courteous. The complete opposite of the first waitress. She was extremely attentive. The food was delicious and I'm so glad the second waitress took over. I will definitely recommend this restaurant but I hope they don't get service from that first waitress because she was terrible.

Never been here before, but we'll be back if we're heading in this direction again. They have 2 showers, 1 washer and 1 dryer. We ate at the Armadillo Grill and the food was really really good. My husband had the philly cheese steak and I had the barbecue sandwich with onion rings we shared. The staff was very friendly, helpful and polite. They keep the Location very clean and tidy. They have lots of parking for semis with trailers, better than most truck stops we've been to.

They actually make their own mashed potatoes, and the fried okra is great as well. The whole meal was good, and I will definitely be back.

If you're looking for an adult beverage though, no dice. There is, however, a nice boot and Western wear store in the same travel plaza.

Highly recommend this place.

Conveniently located right off highway. Super friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable. Food was amazing. Especially the armadillo poppers and fried jalapenos. Brisket was so tender you couldn't pick it up.
