Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

It's freaking cracker barrel, if you don't know what they have then you've never been on a major us highway and needed comfort food. It's not a 5 star Chef Ramsay restaurant but it's decent food and usually served hot and the prices are decent. Wait staff is normally helpful and not rude. Food comes pretty fast and you can get in and out if you're in a hurry. Try chicken and dumplings, they're pretty tasty and so are their biscuits.

Normally, dining here is a pleasant experience. This last visit makes me hesitate to return. Orders taken, drinks served, food delivered. Here's your check. First ms waitress, this roast beef sandwich is mostly fat. You should have asked if everything was okay. Second, it is typical to get tea refills. Third, why no biscuits. All the other tables got their serving. Should have stayed home and had myself a pb&j, would have been more satisfying. Don't ask about the hair in the sandwich, or the corn in the mashed potatoes, or the okra in the fries. Update. Food is definitely of a lesser quality and I believe from the speed that you are given the check that they may have dispensed with the desert menu. Will not be returning.

Best place to eat with the family. Never disappointed by the food. Very polite people working there, all of them smiling and giving a great service. A 100 for this place!
