Our server was incredibly sweet and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to anyone who likes sushi.
I got the sushi combo A, and it was quite good. I am pretty picky for Japanese food, and I'll say the sushi rice was not what I'd expected from an authentic Japanese restaurant. The vibe is way more American (with some obvious Japanese elements), so honestly I was skeptical from the get-go, and pleasantly surprised.
The service was good, and I like that they swipe the card in front of you, by the table (like in Europe or Brazil).
I would not call this place authentic Japanese, but it's a solid option, especially given the lack of alternatives near by.
I'd say the closest competition is Blue fish and Sakekawa. This place has a way more chill vibe though.
So Tuna Sashimi was sort of substandard from a tuna point of view. Made me wonder if it was even Tuna. Service was great, except salad was forgotten. Salmon and snapper were good. Rainbow roll was ok, shrimp on one of the pieces was a little old tasting.
Total bill $67
From a value point of view versus quality I would say I have had better for less.
