Wonderful as usual. Best chicken fried steak ever

We had a good meal. I reccomend the chicken fried steak- their famous meal. I had the small plate and it was more than enough, even with me being ravenously hungry.
As seen in the photos, my son had the pulled pork sandwich and devoured it. Only three stars because the fried catfish my husband ordered he said seemed like it may have been frozen, not fresh.
He did still enjoy it, but felt as though in our area fresh fish is abundant, so why chose frozen.

My mom, daughter and myself came here yesterday. It was fantastic! I talked to the owner and made sure he knew we enjoyed his place. It was my second time there. I'll be making a third visit soon!

My food was okay, but also ordered a to-go for my husband which was a disappointment. I was assured the chicken meat would be a leg quarter. When I opened the box at home, I found a breast and a wing. Since this restaurant is in Magnolia and I live in College Station, there was no taking the food back. Lesson learned: open the box to check before leaving the Hickory Corral.

A group of us rode our Harley’s to eat here. I’ve been before but it’s been about 3 years. The staff is supper friendly, the restaurant is clean and in order. And the food... well, the picture is worth a thousand words. I had beef ribs, potato salad and baked beans. Man were these ribs good. Very tender and moist. Great without the sauce, which is good too. The potato salad was perfect and the beans were good. This plate is more than enough for two people to split.
