Phil's Road House & Grill

Great little local restaurant. Kinda feels like Texas Roadhouse, but much nicer. None of the giant chain gimmicks. This is an honest, nice grill. Great food served with a nice sized salad. Huge drink glasses, just like you’d expect in Texas. Loved it! Clean bathrooms!

Great stop for visitors, easy to spot from highway. Ambiance, staff and food are amazing. Had the pleasure to meet the owner Marisa and service couldn’t be better. I recommend 100% this place for a casual food a a gathering dinner with family.

Food quality and taste are really good. If you are just passing by Montgomery, please do not go to a fast food or anywhere else. Delight your taste here!

Waited four minutes at the kiosk for someone to seat me. Only a few folk were there to eat. Waitresses did a fine job. Food was cooked well but, except for the cocktail sauce and the Hushpuppies, everything else was under seasoned and boring. Good amount of food for the lunch menu pricing. I'll give them another chance when I'm in the area again.

I am new to this area and discovered Phil's right away. It is my favorite local restaurant. I'm bringing all my visitors here. The food and service are outstanding. Portions are huge. Great casual dining whether a local or just passing through Montgomery on Highway 105.

Update: I'm still loving the food at Phil's and bringing new people there. Just had the HUGE, meaty chicken tenders & homemade honey mustard again. Combined with the giant portion of perfect fried onion rings (beating out those at Burger Express), I brought home enough to eat again tomorrow! Their chicken fried steak is a MUST HAVE.

The food was delicious! On new years day not many places are open so my family and I ended up here. We're from out of state and didn't know what to expect. I'm glad we found this place because it was great. Again, the food was amazing, the service was great and the restaurant and restrooms were clean. Definitely coming back next time we're visiting family.
