Had the most enjoyable lunch with friends. Atmosphere is pleasant and staff is friendly and helpful Food is home made and very good. Portion sizes are overly generous had to take home half of my plate.

Come for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a fab Sunday brunch. Restaurant can be rented for private events and has room for wedding venues. Owners are hands on and it shows in staffing, menu and decor. Highly reccomend a visit to Hodge Podge Lodge and it is well worth the drive from Houston, visitors can stroll downtown Montgomery and visit the varied shops after a amazing meal from Hodge Podge Lodge.

This is my favorite for great meals in a very comfy slightly sophisticated dining room and the nicest staff service. Chef has visited table each time I go and is very personable. Prices are very reasonable and everything has had a fresh, made from scratch satisfying meal. The meatballs are some of the best I have had on a while.????????????

We just enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Hodge Podge Lodge. This is their first weekend with dinner service and the food was excellent. Two of our party had the sea bass, including my husband who is a tough critic. He can't stop talking about how good it was. After 4 days of eating at some of New Orleans best, his comment was this was better. I enjoyed the pasta dish with shrimp, crab, and artichokes. Perfection! Our server was excellent as well giving us ample attention. We are so excited to have this fine restaurant in our town. You will not be disappointed.

What a wonderful place for breakfast and lunch! Had the eggs Benedict and 4 cheese Mac n Cheese and both were really tasty! Looking forward to the full being open to enjoy a Bloody Mary with brunch. It’s a great venue as both a restaurant and a bed and breakfast. Service was really nice -I like the pitcher of water on the table and the clever wine list on the wine bottle! It’s on the repeat list!
