Smoken J's BBQ - New Caney

I ordered the brisket beans and fries. I bet I got 3/4 of a pound of brisket and it was dang sure good. The pinto beans red beans were cooked perfect. Including my drink was $14.99 cannot beat it.

I purchased this on UberEats because it looked good and the reviews were good and i was too lazy to go anywhere. Well, my food tasted and looked like two day old BBQ, if you know what I mean...it just didn't taste fresh. I also gave my coworker some and he said the same thing. I ordered a three meat plate, ribs, sausage, and brisket. The two sides were rice casserole and green beans. The rice casserole which was like a very spicy sausage and cheese mixture...I can't really say what tasted like, it was just different! The green beans were bland...just green beans no season. I gave them 3 stars because of the amount of meat I received. I would definitely try them again if the BBQ was fresh!

The food here is so delicious and fresh, if your in the mood for good BBQ this is the place. Small location but like I said the food spectacular.

This is what I would call a little hole in the wall place that you want to keep a secret! The food was very good. No skimping on the meat! It's a small place with minimal parking but the food is to die for. Only one person running this place when I arrived. She was the cook, waitress and dish washer. I was the only customer so service was great! I ordered the brisket plate with 2 sides, bread, pickles and onions and a drink. Cost was $15. There was no skimping on anything as the portions were huge and I made 2 hefty meals out of it. I'm sure this was a house at one time converted to a restaurant. About 6 tables total. Kinda like an old favorite fishing hole...you want to brag about the fish you caught but don't want anyone to know where your spot is!
