Splendora Cafe & BBQ

We were a day at the flea market in Cleveland last weekend, and we decided to get a bite to eat. We didn't really want to get anything while we were there, so we left and headed home. We saw this Cafe & BBQ and decided to pull in to see what they offered.
Let me tell you that was the best decision after a great day at the flea market. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you entered the facility. Their staff are extremely friendly from the beginning to throughout your entire stay.
The menu was full of delicious choice's, and we decided on brisket and mesquite smoked turkey with side's.
We will definitely revisit this facility and sample more of their quality food and exceptional service. 👍👍

Great place with a good bar and bartender. Drinks were quickly made correctly and he entertained us while doing it. The waitress welcomed us, took our order, checked on us, and even asked if we wanted to go drinks. They even had the local regular customer drinks made before they placed and order. Highly recommended!

We had purchased a few pounds of brisket from Splenda Cafe & BBQ to take home last year. The brisket was alright, but not so good that you'd want to eat it without any sauces or placed inside a sandwich. We figured that perhaps the meat would be better if eaten at the restaurant. On this trip, we tried a variety of different foods along with the brisket. Although the food looked great and was prepared correctly, the majority of the items fell just short of expectations in taste. No single item tasted bad but the only thing that everyone liked the best were the fried pickles. The food that tastes okay but didn't knock our socks off were: the brisket, pork ribs, macaroni & cheese, and the rolls. The fries (regular), fried mushrooms, and fried okra were good but nothing special. The margaritas are a good size for $6 but aren't very strong. The waiter we had was friendly and the restaurant was clean. There are a ton more items on their menu that we want to try, so we plan to give them at least one more visit before deciding if the trip there and the money are really worth it.

Our Kind server, Abby, friendly and serviceable. The place looks amazing, the food was just right, and on time. Extra fixings for the BBQ lovers like us. A nice size party room for private events, and celebrations. Parking was clean and open. No tight or awkward spaces, nice for a change. Bathrooms clean, and modern. Well, keeping it simple, y’all earn it, 5/5 stars is my rating.

This place is really nice, the building and interior. It was Sunday about 1pm and the wait was not as long as I had expected. The food was all great portions, I enjoyed a huge baked potato. We will for sure be going back to try more menu items!
