Tonight was our first visit! And I give it 5 stars because the old town classic feeling and hospitality is definitely here at this BBQ place.
It's pretty much self serviced but a gentleman came and checked on us and give our girls cookies! How awesome
Great bbq and great staff. Buddy and his crew have this place making the 249 corridor proud.
Clean place with a rustic touch. They’ve got a big tv too, perfect for game watching w/ excellent grub.
Well, where do I begin. I placed an order to go and arranged pickup from the drivethru. When I pulled up a very nice man came outside and suggested I needed to come checkout the inside and boy was I happy I did. The hospitality felt like warm Southern Comfort!! They handed me a slice of melt in your mouth brisket and the best green beans ever!! The potato salad and vinegar based Cole slaw were delicious. That's all I tried today but it left me wanting more. If you haven't picked your after church meal for tomorrow yet, may I suggest here. You won't be disappointed. I'll be back (said in my best Arnold voice)!!
If your looking for really GREAT FOOD! COLESLAW was off the chain. Not creamy but FANTASTIC. CHOPPED BEEF, the bomb. Worth every penny. Five Stars! RIBS, NO WORDS. I WILL BE GOING BK. Clean, friendly environment. Great Job Guys, and Girls!
November 2018. Cannot deny that this place has great BBQ. It's a bit tough to spot from the road, and parking is only on one side. Now on to the review, while waiting in traffic on my way to the Renaissance Festival, I could smell the BBQ, just didn't spot the place until I was next to it. When I came in, the folks here are very friendly and helpful. You'll feel quite cozy having lunch or early dinner here, as the atmosphere is nice and quiet. It's a great family restaurant. The baked potato I had looked like it was made by a chef. It was very well presented and didn't look like the baked potatoes I'm used to. I thought I had walked into an upscale trendy restaurant there for a second, but when I tasted that potato, I don't know if I was just that hungry, but my taste buds didn't know what hit them. I left nothing of it. Not even the potato skin. I even called a friend of mine who was to meet me at Renfest and I waited for him to come try it. I doubt we may have a taste like this again for a while. I'm also hoping it wasn't a fluke. I recommend visiting this place if you're hungry and near it. I'm going to take a nap now, that potato made me sleepy.
