Woodson's Local Tap + Kitchen Grand Parkway

Really enjoyed Woodson’s. We stopped in today for an early dinner. There was no wait at 4 PM, service was good and food was prepared reasonably quickly. Happy hour 4-7 every day so we got some Austin fries (bacon and queso on them) and some fried pickles. Both appetizers were good. For entrees, I ordered the New Yorker burger and my wife ordered the Woodson’s brisket grilled cheese. Both were quite good. The bread on both sandwiches was buttered and well toasted. I ordered my burger medium and it was correctly cooked and juicy. The last thing I will say is that for the quality of the food I think the pricing is very reasonable. We will go back.

The food is amazing. Staff is so friendly. My husband and I had our 1st date night since our son was born and Woodson's made our date the best. Megan our waitress was awesome. Very friendly and you can tell she loves her customers. Director of Operations walks around and talks to the customers. They are nailing it for customer service and great food

Impressive! First time patron. Restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly and professional. The manager even came by to state the willingness of the kitchen to accommodate us on gluten-free options as they are not made clear on the menu. Service was great. Multiple staff members brought items to the table so everything we ordered came out quickly. Hot food was hot and cold food was cold. More importantly IT TASTED GOOD. Beer selection was good too. I would've liked to see more non-carbohydrate sides for the kids. French fries, mashed potatoes and corn...?? How about some grapes, oranges, berries or melon? I will definitely be back to try more menu items and more of the beer selection. Good job!

Food was delicious, wait was short for a busy night and the beer was cold!! Attentive wait staff and manager, eager to please. If I could change anything I would turn speakers off in the ladies room. It’s loud in the dining area, as expected for this type of establishment, but a minute of quiet while in the ladies room would be nice. And purse hooks on the front long tables would be nice as well. Looking forward to returning!
