Khau Gully Indian Kitchen

Went with my husband on a casual date night. The owner/gentleman helped us pick so many yummy dishes. Now we have some fav's there. Good local spot for sure. Give it a shot.

First off, the service was great but the food was lacking. We got the dahi puri which was decent, maybe a little more dahi and a little less potatoes. The samosa chaat was okay, the dish as a whole could have been much warmer and the green chutney was a little too tart. We enjoyed the stuffed paratha, the lime chutney and yogurt was not really needed and finally we got the mysore masala dosa which we did not enjoy and only ate half. The dosa was not fresh as it was cold and soggy when we got it off the counter, the dosa should be hot and have a crisp to it. The sambar that came with it was good but the two other chutneys did not pair well with it at all. Overall not a great first time with the food overall lacking quality and flavor and does not measure up to the high prices that are being charged.

The food here is incredible! It was piping hot and so delicious. This will easily become my go-to lunch stop! The price is very good for the quality food. I highly recommend!

I also have to include how I appreciated how cool it was inside the restaurant. It was comfortable and so welcome in this summer heat.

I visited this restaurant recently and found the food to be decent. The self-service setup was convenient, and the cashier was quite friendly. However, I believe the experience could have been improved if they had added a sweet sauce to the bhel dish. It would have added a nice touch to the flavors.

Decent vegetarian place.
The cooks are house wife’s so this has a homely flavor.
This place is self serve. So there is no wait staff.
The food was a bit salty and oily so folks have to keep that in mind.
They veg thali is 11$ and has some decent items.
The place is open Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Monday.
