Hidden gem in the Asian grocery store! Get all the Korean classics here, food is consistently fresh and delicious. Don’t sleep on it.
The food is amazing! I’ve known the lady who runs this counter ever since she started and her food is always amazing. It really is. And her banchan is great too! I mean, it’s all homemade. And just recently she has 겉절이 (fresh kimchi) and omg! I’m a goner now. Please stop in and try her amazing food. I know I sound like a broken record ????.
Operates separately from the Yun Koy asian market it's in and takeout only, no chairs or tables. Ordered $9 bulgogi plate, which they had to heat up in the back. See photos - also has bibambap, jajangmyeon, galbi, korean friced rice and other items. Average price, average taste (for bulgogi and kim chi). Good Korean option for location.
Yori-Wow, Korean Food, is located in the back of the Yun Loy Asian Market. Yori-Wow is a takeout/takeaway operation only. Currently, it is in operation on Wednesday through Sunday.
I have obtained food here at least 12+ times. The food is very good, much like you would experience in the home of a friend. The quality of the food is high because it is made from good basic ingredients/components with care. The cost is inexpensive to moderate, and I consider it a good value. I like the food very well in comparison to other quality Korean food from other operations. The friendly proprietor/cook makes a strong effort to communicate with customers to help them learn about the different items offered. It is important that you discuss spice/heat level of the different items offered. They will help you select items based on your preferences, and an effort is made to accommodate vegetarians and vegans. This operation is one of the very few places in the metroplex or The Woodlands that I will go to for dining takeout. I suggest that you go to Yori-wow for a unique and positive Korean culinary experience.
