Jasper's has to be one of (if not the best) culinary highlights of my most recent visit to Texas. The decor and atmosphere is dark however it also promotes slow fine dining while also not having the feeling of being rushed.
Service is great and spot-on and very timely and the server was very considerate of our needs.
The food is where Jasper's really shines; from their steak and calamari to their delicious bread board and ribs that fall right off the bone.
The concept of you get what you pay for is thoroughly true here because it can be a bit pricey for dinner here but it's worth it.
If I am ever in the area, I will definitely visit Jasper's again.
It's good, not great. Had the chicken and waffles - only 3 very small pieces of chicken, but the gravy was outstanding. Also ordered banana stuffed French toast and it was okay and kind of bland. Our server was a little slow refilling drinks among other things, and very awkward when he dropped off the check - he stuck around and waited for me to pay.
We have never been disappointed here. Love the rib eye and tenderloin. Staff was very friendly and made my husband's birthday very special!!!
We had the kid's waffles, Grandma Minnie's fried chicken, the chicken and waffles, the hummus, and a slice of chocolate flan cake. All delicious! The interior of the place is nice in a modern way and the location in the Market Street had easy parking. Give it a try and you'll surely go back!
I love this place. It's family owned and very welcoming. Great wine selection and their fish preparations are delicious. Their sweet potato fries are to die for. They're listed as an appetizer but I like to get them as a dessert. Yum!
