Grimaldi's Pizzeria

The BEST pizza in The Woodlands. Hands down no contest. Weekends, if you don't get there early plan to have fun on the river way, because typically you are going to have to wait. First come first serve. Plan to come early or after 8:30. NY style pizza, real ingredients and coal oven baked. Pizza and calzones are what they do but their desserts are really good as well.

Grimaldi's is a vintage mom-and-pop type of pizza shop that sits on the corner have a very lavish and energetic scene. It kind of gives you the look of an Italian movie and when you enter you can tell that it's very genuine by the way it smells and the way that it is set up as though you were in a old school movie and it makes you feel very cool! They have pastas, salads, pizza and much more and is very small shop and the prices are not bad at all either for the quality of food that you are getting and the quality service that you are also given at the same time. I would say that Grimaldi's is a go to place if you like Italian food and if you want to get away from the norm and get into an environment that's different!

It was so fresh. We ordered an 18in for a family of 4. We almost ordered another to go. Worth the drive from Cypress. We were seated without a wait. Expect to valet on a Friday evening.

We ordered The Don pizza and were more than pleased with our meal. The customer service was great as well. In fact, the pizza we ordered came out slightly darker than the manager was happy with, so he personally delivered it and told us to enjoy it (as an appetizer) but that he was bringing us an entirely new pizza. Since it was only 2 slices and they were not too dark for us, we insisted on them not making a new one but the gesture was appreciated. We will be coming back.

Having eaten at the original Grimaldi’s in Brooklyn several times I was very surprised at how very close to the original this location is. Excellent New York style pizza. Service and ambiance was outstanding. Well done
