The Republic Grille

Tried a "new to us" restaurant on a friend's recommendation since we just moved to The Woodlands. Republic Grille was outstanding! The shrimp and grits was very flavorful. The chicken fried steak was amazing, too...no skirt steak here! Our server knew we wanted to share both entrees, so she had the kitchen split them into separate plates...so appreciated that! We will be back here again!

This was our first time here and the food and service was excellent. I ordered the stuffed pork chops (expensive) with green beans and sweet potato cakes (the last one on the bottom wasn't cooked all the way). My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and we also had the macaroni bites for an appetizer (those are delicious, especially the sauce). All in all, it was a great dining experience. It is on the high side but I believe it is worth the price. I will go again.

A couple of co-workers recommended this place to me, so my husband and I decided to try it out. It did not disappoint! The chicken fried steak was oh so yummy and that jalapeno bacon mac and cheese was to die for!! My husband raved about the calamari and his blackened flounder. We will definitely be back.

The coconut shrimp is the best you'll ever have. It's amazing! Always great service. We love that it is upscale but also kid friendly. It's a great place for a nice family dinner or a date night. They have Wiki Sticks for the kids which are so cool and keep my son entertained the entire time. We love this place!

Bacon jalapeno macaroni and cheese are to die for.
Wife's fried chicken was outstanding as well.
