Best Authentic cuisine in The Woodlands, Jesus and his staff are super attentive and helpful. The food and desserts are so delicious and the guayaba cheese cake is one of my favorite desserts. I definitely recommend this place 100%
Ps: on Wednesdays & Thursdays nights go enjoy the live music
We brought some out of town friends here for Sunday brunch a few weeks ago. They had to catch a plane, so we set the reservation for right when they opened at 10am. We waited more than 5 minutes, not long true, but we had already spent several minutes greeting one another outside before entering the restaurant to allow time for the other 2 tables to be seated without crowding them, so . . . Also, our party of seven had 2 kids in it, and we overheard one of the servers say, "oh great, there's kids" as we were walked to our table.
The specialty coffee was divine, as were the marranitos served along with them, although they came after we'd finished our coffee, as the kitchen hadn't had them baked when we first sat down. The food service was slow, our meals didn't arrive until almost 11am even though we were one of only a handful of tables in the restaurant at the time. My avocado toast was supposed to be cold, but the salmon wasn't and it arrived dry and tepid. Everyone else was satisfied with their meal, except one of the meals was cold. The staff was apologetic about the wait and the cold dish and offered us a complimentary dessert by way of apology.
I'd heard such good things about the place and, unfortunately, this experience was just mid. Maybe brunch just isn't their thing. Maybe we'll try again during dinner service one day.
This is an amazing restaurant! Will def be back for brunch!
Had dinner! Loved our food!
From the drinks to the appetizer to the meals!
The salsa oysters were so delicious!
The corn tamales was so good!!
The octopus and enchiladas was good!
Could have done without the dessert- churros. It was okay.
Overall amazing experience and our waiter Oscar M. Was 10/10!!!! He made it so much better!
Amazing food but lacking in service. Even though we had reservations, we waited for more than 30 minutes to get seated and order drinks. However, we liked the food and the atmosphere. They had a guy performing classic Latin songs and we loved it. The place was not loud in case you are looking for something quiet and romantic.
I went for my birthday dinner and everything was perfection. The entire staff from the the hostesses to our waiter Oscar were all amazing. It was our first time here and Oscar walked us through the menu and helped us make our food choices. Every recommendation he gave was a must try, he even gave us some food history knowledge. The decor was vibrant yet elegant. Everything we consumed felt unique and purposeful with flavor. The ambiance is welcoming. Not a single thing to complain about here and i highly recommend this place to any and everyone that enjoys great food and amazing service.
