Big Country Cafe

My family ate here for dinner and breakfast as we passed through. Service was very friendly and efficient. The kitchen did a great job, and the food came out quick due to the great system the owner has selected. We recommend the delicious omelettes and biscuits for breakfast. Huge, fluffy, tasty pancakes too. Four adults, two kids (one ordered from adult menu) averaged about $11 a head both meals with very full bellies and a to go box. Really a darling and delicious place

While staying in Dumas we went to this restaurant. Food was good, reasonably priced and good choices. Service was excellent. We sat in the back room. Quiet with families and other seniors. Easily our best experience in all times we have traveled through on our way to Colorado .

The Big Country Cafe is awesome! The servers are great and the food came out in about 5 minutes, no exaggeration, and it was phenomenal. That picture is all that was left of The Horshoe Sandwich, sorry. I heard their pie is something serious too, maybe next time.

Just passed through Dumas and stopped here for dinner. Clean building, extremely friendly staff, amazing decorations and the food was simply amazing. If I lived in Dumas, i would eat here every day. Will definitely be back. Spent 20 dollars between 2 people

I enjoyed my dinner at Big County Cafe during a recent stay in Dumas. The service was attentive and friendly and my meal was good. The salad tasted fresh and the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes was very tasty. It is located in a cool older building with a great restaurant sign out front and old school vibe complete with wood paneled walls on the inside. The place seemed to be popular with locals and that is usually a good sign. I'd dine here again.
