First, the positives. It's a cool location and building. The young lady at the register taking orders was friendly and seemed to be knowledgeable about her equipment. Also, the filling of my sandwich was delish.
Now, the reasons this place has probably lost any return visit from me. I ordered a drink because I went to eat lunch and they had a drink machine and this is East Texas where Dr. Pepper is probably tied with sweet tea as the drink of choice. Only, the Dr. Pepper wasn't there. All I got was soda water--eeww! So we informed the front order taker but got no response.
When the young man brought our sandwiches out, I asked if the DP was fixed yet. He checked, he tried. And he failed. That meant no drink for me. A drink I had already paid for.
Then, when you order a sandwich, you get ONLY the sandwich and a pickle spear. No other anything, not cheap chips, nothing. Also, I ordered my sandwich on sourdough, but the bun was not sourdough. Sourdough is not sweet, it's sour, thus the name. And on top of that, my husband had bought two of the homemade looking peanut butter cookies. When he went to eat the first one, the bottom was burned. Not scorched or over-baked, burned.
So, yeah, probably won't be going back for the atmosphere there.

I had to reuben sandwich and it was okay. Nothing great but not bad either. I'd go there again.

Lovely place to stop by for a quick bite, with daily rotating sandwiches and soup there's always something new to try the day of the week.

Nice place! Brought the whole family here. Kids meals available. Wife and I had a salad and avocado grilled cheese and enjoyed both. Felt like the salad had a little too much goat cheese but not complaining. Would definitely come back.
