Cafe Italia

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in town. The lasagna is to die for!!! I have tried several dishes and never disappointed!

My mom was raving about this place, so I came to give it a try. Wasn’t impressed. Service was okay. They were friendly but not super attentive. I’ll give them a pass as the place was packed with several large parties.

Food was not great. The best thing I tried was probably the complimentary bread. The alfredo pasta was bland. It didn’t really taste like alfredo…maybe watered down alfredo. Also tried the chicken alfredo pizza, and that didn’t taste much better.

We had a great dinner at Cafe Italia, if you are looking for Italian or good pizza in Corpus Christi look no further. Real New York pizza, it folds, it’s thin and they actually know what ‘well done’ means.

We had different pastas, spaghetti and meat balls, bolognese, and seafood pasta. The mussels were massive, as well as the shrimp and scallops.

We also had someone in our party get Stromboli and another person got chicken parmesan. Every plate was empty at the end of dinner.

The cannoli; it was amazing. Perfectly sugared with a dark chocolate drizzle. It was an amazing finish to our dinner.

Not only was the food amazing, but the service was top notch. We never had an empty glass and our waitress was on point all night.
The prices were reasonable.

The wife and I did a date night here. When we came through the door we knew it was going to be good by the smell of fresh Italian food. They had plenty of staff that were all friendly. Service was great. They give you free fresh baked bread that is delightful 🙂. We ordered cheese sticks for an appetizer. My wife got the chicken parmigana. I ordered the triple pasta plate, which came with lasagna, chicken parmigana, and fettuccine alfredo. It was all really good, but my favorite was the fettuccine alfredo. We also had cesar salads as our side, they were good. The Prices we're very reasonable for Italian food and the service was great. We will definitely be coming back to get out Italian food fix.
