A nice place with nice people. Their custard us great! I also suggest you tried their Chicago. It's really really yummy.
This place was always packed when it first opened and for obvious reasons. Freddie's is good when it comes to the steak burgers but they are not very filling. They can be a bit pricey and the French Fries are tiny. The best items are definately the steak burgers and the custard. Its like ice cream but better. The wait time is low and the staff is nice and very helpful. The only negative thing I can even say is that it can get very cramped due to the small amount of space to walk between tables
I love this place! Their steak burgers are delicious as well as their desserts. Don't be afraid to y the name "steak burger." They're thin patties. Their shoestring fries are delicious, especially with some of their famous fry sauce! They are OVERFLOWING from their container so you never get shorted on fries.
Their Concretes and Custard are the best! Think of a DQ Blizzard, but made with REAL ICE CREAM and not "frozen dairy dessert." (Actually, it's made with custard which makes it even better!)
We had never been to Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers so we tried it out last night. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, the staff was friendly and efficient and the food was to die for. I had a burger with onion rings and my love had a patty melt and the matchstick fries. We split an order of their fried pickles and she proclaimed them to be the best she's had. Our go to burger place is Snapka's on Weber but Freddy's was great.
Couldn't leave without trying the frozen custard and holy hell, it was amazing. It's located at Weber and SPID in Corpus and we'll definitely go back. The whole atmosphere impressed us, it seems to be a very well run store. Scarfed the custard too fast to get a pic but here are a few of the rest of our dinner. Highly recommended if some of you have never been. Definitely get the french fry sauce, we tried both and really liked the jalapeno version.
