My Mimi's Kitchen

Awesome brunch! I recently dined at your venue for breakfast/brunch and OH MY LANTA, it was so delicious!!!! The service was impeccable. The food was scrumptious! The mimosas were heavenly - especially the Barbie Mimosa! Thank you Mimi for stopping by our table; that was truly super nice. The avocado toast was flavorful. I can't wait to go back! PS: that stuffed & non-stuffed French Toast was AMAZING!!!! Best French Toast on Earth! 5 Stars on Yelp!

I was very excited to try this place on a Sunday morning but I left underwhelmed. I arrived at noon with my father and there was a 30 minute wait. Once we were sat at the bar a server came up to us and got our drink order. We then gave her our food order which we had to wait 2 hours for. The staff offered complimentary biscuits while people waited for their food and shortly after I could notice some tables just paying for their drinks and leaving. We finally got our food and it was definitely not worth the wait but still very good. I had ordered the bagel with over medium eggs cheese and sausage on an everything bagel. My dad ordered a meal called papas choice. After it died down a little the bartender explained to the bar top that she was a little bit of the reason why the food took so long. I asked a server what the bartenders name was and she said that the bartender was Mimi. I was shocked because Mimi told the other guests alongside me and my dad at the bar top that she pulled a ticket for a table and sent it to be made before everyone else’s because there was a disabled child at the table and she wanted to make sure they had a good meal and experience. She justified it because she said that her brother is also disabled and it was very distasteful to hear that. They also gave us a 10% discount since it took so long.

Finally made it here! We came for breakfast, I’ve been putting it off because I felt the prices were a bit high, but let me tell you, the food is almost all home made and with quality products. I had the Mimi’s Messy Mess which is most of my favorite breakfast items piled on top of each other in a warm cast iron skillet. The eggs were cooked perfect, the sausage gravy was as good as mine and the hash browns were crisp on the outside and tender in the middle. I couldn’t have been more pleased. They also have a large selection of homemade Jams made right there. You can get some added to your meal or buy a jar. The staff is pleasant and helpful and the owners are on site getting to know you and watching the quality of what comes out of the kitchen. I can’t wait to go back and try lunch. You get what you pay for and these prices are fair, quality is good and you won’t leave hungry. I left today very impressed.
