All I got was the brussels sprouts, but I am not exaggerating when I say they are heavenly. The most amazing brussels sprouts I've ever tasted in my life. Your soul will leave your body lol, especially with the ninja sauce it comes with. I heard the rest of the food is really awesome too, and the owner Eddie is so nice and welcoming, he really makes all the customers feel welcome and created a comfortable environment. This is probably the best Asian restaurant I've been to in Corpus for the authentic food, cleanliness, and environment. It's small and out of the way, but so worth the visit!
Got the pork goyza, ronin beef bowl, and ronin sushi roll (with added cucumber inside)
Everyone was very nice and the food was super delicious! 😋
The ronin roll didn't originally come with cucumbers, but I really like that extra crunch! So I asked if it was possible to add the cucumber and they did!! ❤ I don't think they charged extra for the modification either. So nice!
I believe they are still a little new, so they weren't that busy, and their menu isn't super expansive yet (forgot menu pics, sorryyy), but they are definitely worth a try!
The location isn't very easy to see from the road and outside doesn't look super welcoming haha (not necessarily their fault though, just the location) - like a hole in the wall type of feeling. But don't let that sway you from trying them out !
This is now my favorite restaurant in corpus. Immediately upon entering I was greeted by the owner eddy and the waitress who were both extremely kind, positive and attentive. I tried the beef bowl (his signature) and genuinely almost teared up it was so amazing. His sushi was so good it made me literally never want to go anywhere else for it. To top it all off it isn’t expensive at all. If you pass by and don’t try this place it’s a crime.
Great food, atmosphere, and service.
My first time to have lunch at this hidden Japanese gem. Place was clean and inviting. Staff was super friendly and very attentive. Food came out really fast starting with appetizer gyoza and creamy wasabi edamame. We had 2 rolls thats were fresh and delicious followed by the main dishes. Chicken skewers was so tender and amazing (highly recommend) and Teppanyaki w beef. All delicious and I'll definitely return to try the rest of the menu.
