Surfing Crab

The platter as always was delicious. However after paying over$100, it was lacking in some of the items. There was very little, shrimp, corn, boiled eggs and sausage in camparison to the three previous occasions in which we have ordered the very same platter and sides.

The fried fish my wife ordered was very tasty. The jumbo shrimp I ordered were cocktail shrimp at best. At the end the waiter asked how the meal was and I told him the jumbo shrimp were small. He goes on to tell me how things have changed and a long story short he was trying to get me to believe the a cocktail shrimp is the new jumbo. Personally I thought it was overpriced for what we received.

We sat with Lexi and had the best experience, even though it was a busy day she still tended to our every need and checked on us. She was the best waitress we’ve ever had. I would highly recommend visiting this establishment and requesting her. Food was awesome and very affordable. Loved it!!!

I have to admit but this place is BETTER THAN THE BOILING POT!!!! The seafood is so fresh and the sauce is amazing, get fire spicy. The staff was amazing they probably stopped by our table at least 8 times in a little over an hour. Didn't have to wait long for a beer and the drafts were super cold. $2 domestic and $3 imports till 7pm. We will be back for sure!!!

Surfing Crab Cajun Seafood Boil. Location 6418 S. Staples. Tonight ... got seated immediately and then menus.... shortly thereafter were asked if we would be willing to move to a booth so that they could seat a larger party. Manager came to our table and offered free appetizers for the move. Got loaded fries for the move. Cold but asked, and they were supposed to be because of the crab.. delicious. I got scallops, hubby and friend got house special and other friend got oysters on the half shell... HUGE>...... everything was delicious.... Soup AND Salad with entree.... waitress (we totally forgot her name now (Iris)) was on point....
