Potato salad and Mac n cheese which could have a little work to be creamy but wasn't from a box Mac n cheese. You have choice of inside or out it is small inside with a home touch. “Outstanding BBQ with outstanding customer service. I called Mesquite House BBQ with less than one week notice to cater my father-in-law’s 90th birthday party. They gladly accepted my order of the standard BBQ lineup: brisket, sausage, rice, beans, and potato salad. They called me the night before to confirm the pick-up time. They provided more than enough food to feed 30 guests. And everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. The pit-master’s passion and craftsmanship clearly comes through in the smoked-to-perfection brisket, not to mention a subtle, but noticeable, hint of smoke in all the side dishes.”

“I've eaten a lot of fried fish and shrimp in my days but this place sent me Into fish heaven, man! Was absolutely the best damn fish and shrimp I have ever eaten. Everything was made to order so mine and my wife's plates were super hot and fresh! The fish and shrimp were not fishy tasting at all. Super fresh quality. The coleslaw was fantastic! I've had my share of fish from restaurants but this place surpassed restaurant standards. Fried fish this good should be illegal! Will definitely be going back!”

“Great food! I got the special, 6 shrimp and fish. The shrimp were large size and in a mixture of cornmeal and flour type of breading. The fish was Drum fish in a cornmeal type of breading, nicely fried where the tips were crunchy but the fish was not over fried. The waffle fries could have been a little better and not just placed in the tray for the fish and shrimp to drain. Very professional way of ordering, given a restaurant beeper that vibrated when food was done. Only one man managing the front slipping behind the door to grab orders.”
