“This is the best shaved ice in South Texas bar none. It's pretty close to shaved ice in Hawaii. I ordered the half blue coconut, and half red cherry, with a vanilla ice cream scoop on top. Come here if you're thirsty, and hungry. They even have an extensive hot food menu. Wish they had mango flavor though. Will definitely come back for more shaved ice. “This place is delicious! Everything was fresh and they have good salsa too. You can tell a lot of pride is taken in the food they make. This is my first time but the gorditas are my favorite so far. The nachos were also really good. The tortilla chips tasted like they were fried in house. If I think about it, it taste like everything is made on site, this is to include the salsa. For the price you get really good portions. Definently coming back for this food, 20 minutes is not to far to drive. It is a good trailer and they had about 4 to 5 tables to eat at. Everything was really clean.”

“The food and atmosphere was great. Had a good time eating with my family. Our waiter was awesome. My mother in law and I had the cotton picker sub, *highly recommend. Father in law had the grinder, which he said was great too. The kids had the 14 in pepperoni pizza which they munched down. $2.75 for the draft beer. Good pricing. Try their garlic cheese bread. Awesome sauce.”

“I really really really love Popeye's and I probably eat there more than the average person. I have never had a bad experience with a Popeyes per se', however I did have an experience that stood out to me. I was visiting the Popeyes and their customer service was spot on. I was a dine in customer and the staff came by and checked on me, asked if I needed anything, and was over all very attentive to the needs of all of the customers who had decided to dine in that day. The staff appeared to be very friendly towards one another, almost like family. It was obvious they all got along (or they could pretend very well). The manager was training, what appeared to be a new employee and he too was very friendly and customer service oriented. Like I said, I don't remember ever having a bad experience, but this was an experience that went above and beyond what I would expect from a fast food restaurant. They seem to have great leadership and direction in my opinion.”

“Best stop between Houston and South Padre. What a wonderful place. Brand new. Cleanest bathrooms. Outstanding COVID-19 precautions Very helpful staff Family run Thank you sirs. My family had a fun stop and they think I am so smart for finding your lovely place after all. We stopped at McDonald’s nearby that didn’t have operational bathrooms.
