Sonic Drive-In

Ice cream machine is always down at 8pm.. And the staff is hurried so much with just 3 people in line that your not able to talk to them or be greeted. The food was alright but the shake machine was up so they made us the shakes and we waited 5 minutes for food. Why do they insist on giving me melted creamery while I wait? The drinks were made without the ingredients I wanted and made me sick. But overall it was a typical overpriced sonic experience..

Use to work here a few years ago. Still love getting drinks at this place, though. Many people do misunderstand how this place works. Your carhop will never ask for a tip, just tip them anyway. They make under minimum wage like any other waitress does. I always try to tip when I have cash on me. Your order may be wrong but it’s not your hops fault, don’t yell at them if they can’t hear you. It’s the equipment (never was the best). And lastly, please read your order while it’s on the screen. Working at a sonic a few towns over, still deal with the same issues. I come here often. Lovely service by my hops whether it’s morning or evening. Respectful young ladies and men that are just trying to put in work ethic and make money to support themselves just like anyone else. Your carhops are people, too.
