Otani Hibachi Sushi

They have BOTH sushi and hibachi here. Their nigiri sushi is cut very, very, very, small now that they are in their new location. Also, the restaurant is ice cold and if you are seated at the booths, you will likely be seated under a cold fan, which blows all over your food, making your warm food cold much faster. The waitstaff is very casual---maybe too casual---as they stand several feet away from the table, practically taking your order from the middle of the room. I call this the "reluctant waiter" move. I had high hopes for the new location, but they need to cut the ceiling fans off, make the sushi portions normal again, and the wait staff needs to work on their body language and come right up to the table when taking an order and servicing the table. The other sushi restaurants in town are gaining on you because they have MUCH larger sushi portions by comparison. You used to be the best in town, not so anymore.

Food came quickly and was good, service how ever was not. I waited 20 minutes for my water to get refilled. Employees were just standing around in a very empty place.

It’s amazing. Staff is awesome. Food is wow.. no words can express how happy my family is. This is our first time here and will NOT be the last we have found us a great place to eat that is clean, great service, and awesome food.. THIS IS A MUST... we ate it all...
