“Living in Ballinger for a bit, I ate at the original quite a bit. After I moved to Ft Worth, I missed West Texas steak houses. When I recently found out they expanded, we headed out for a road trip. It sets back off the road, so keep your eye out. The new building is awesome. We ordered the KC for 2. As is tradition, a huge pile of meat was put before us. It was cooked perfectly. The flavor is mouthwatering. Don't forget to order their famous Jeff Davis Pie!!”

I was so excited for it to open & get that they're probably still training their employees.. but when I pulled up to the window they didn't tell me what my total was & the one girl just stared at me. She said, "Uh, I need your card." •.• They didn't tell me which smoothie was which (they were both red) & I had to ask for my receipt that I watched the one girl smooth out on the counter. I'll definitely give them another try because the smoothies were good!”

“Very nice remodeled store inside and out. Employees nice and responsive. Wendy's breakfast cold not worth eating. Pilot coffee cold had to wait for more to be made. No French vanilla coffee and only little cups of French vanilla creamer. Showers were clean and had hot water. But overall they need to work on food choices and coffee. One diesel fuel pump down from Saturday night to Sunday morning. Parking lot clean and trash empty. It is a place to park for big trucks. Not the best truck stop but I've been in worse.”

“Country kitchen style restaurant. I really enjoy their hamburgers, i order mine with Swiss cheese and grilled mushrooms . I am not a fan of their fries, but that is just my opinion. The wait staff is easily overwhelmed with all of them doing double duty, so expect a wait at peak times. They are pleasant and welcoming. Their prices are fair, and it is an easy drive off of I20 into Brock.”
