Update:

While at the restaurant they must have noticed the series of things that happened.

None of us requested this or hinted toward it whatsoever, but the manager came up on her own, at the end of the meal and comped the entire thing.

It was a very appreciated professional gesture. I appreciate the courtesy and look forward to coming back.

We were checked in with the hostess. We were sat outside near the bar and we were all ignored for 16 minutes. I can't count how many times, 4-5 different employees walked past us. Making eye contact, obviously seeing our empty table, no silverware, no waters, no drinks, no food for over 16 minutes; might indicate we've not been helped. Nope nothing. No kindness, no smiles, nothing. Every employee walking by looked annoyed and off-putting. Had to get up and check with the hostess why we've been ignored for 16 minutes and she looked annoyed at me that I was disturbing her said "well were you checked in..... I guess there was some miscommunication"...so I just walked away from her. She followed me and we were finally helped. This seems to be the overall experience here time and time again before I decided to leave this review. I tried at least 8x coming here and the experience here is just terrible. The food is already just a mediocre 2 out of 5 and the service here is a 1.5 at it's very best. One time during this visit someone came by to ask if we needed anything, they actually seemed annoyed (such a joke), and I said I needed a refill on my son's drink, then as she tried to run off I was like excuse me I'm sorry I need a drink too and she was more annoyed and before my mother could say she needed a drink, she scurried off and ignored my mom. This place is trash. I'm tired of giving this place a chance. Looks like they'll just be another sub-par restaurant with boring food and horrible service.

Family friendly atmosphere! However the food was mediocre for the price. Wait staff is wonderful but the management was not too great. Our server was spread out very thin... And expressed this to us many times. Every table around us had a different server and was not consistent. Doubt we will make it back again.

Great place to watch the game and try different beers. Our server Krista was THE best part about this place. She was knew her beers, the restaurant, the food being served and made great suggestions based on our questions. She's a keeper! The food was pricey, good but not exceptional, but there was a lot of it. Overall a good place to go and I'll go back.

Wow wow wow!! What an amazing experience my family and I had. I love this place no matter if I want to bring my family in for a great family outing, or if I'd like to go out with my significant other and let loose and have a good time this is the place I go. They just never disappoint the food is on point, the service is spectacular and management makes a point to welcome you every time. Again just wow, thank you Parker County Ice House for the great service no matter what my outing type is.
